It’s been a busy week this week for our site acquisition team, spent mostly in Ipswich.

We bought an excellent block walking distance to Girls Grammar
What We Bought or are Buying
Mostly 600m2 blocks throughout Ipswich
What We Didn’t Buy
We pulled out of the rest of the Walloon properties and moved our focus to inner Ipswich. The greater transport links and access to services as well as less design restrictions were the main keys.
There were are lot of renders being done for our Choice 2, 2 bedroom share houses this week. We thought we would share some of the rough ones with you. Lots of work to be done on them yet. Especially removing showers, making sure no steps etc.
An Update From NDISD
As always this is an update from our Development Partner NDISD on the sites and units they have been acquiring lately.
With in excess of $300m of completed properties needed by NDISP to supply outstanding new homes in the Financial Year Ending 30 June 2019 and over $950m by 30 June 2022 the pipeline of supply is a vital component.

Wanted to Buy
With NDISP’s mission to provide homes for people with disabilities that are just as easy to find and move into as non accessible homes, NDISD are constantly acquiring land for houses, unit sites and 10 units inside other developers off the plan complexes.
We look for flat sites that are preferably all of, or at least :
- Located an easy, flat chair roll away from shops, cafes etc;
- Have an excellent view or something more interesting than a neighbouring fence;
- On or close to a high frequency public transport route.
Whilst above is the desired outcome for a lot of tenants, people with disabilities live everywhere and we will look at any site to see if it helps someone get into their new home.

While always looking for all of these, the order of priority changes regularly
- 350 – 800m2 sites for houses
- 600m2 unit sites
- 10 units inside larger complexes
