I have a friend confined to a wheel chair who is in Public housing.
She is on first floor accessible by a very small lift. She lives alone.
They have said they will modify the stove so she can put her wheelchair under to cook.
The fire standard door is too heavy for her to manage easily.
She does have better access to shops and doesnt have the garden work of her last place.
    But she has a cat.
Her mobility scooter is downstairs in an open car port.
Have your clients better access to appropriate housing? Concerned member of the public.

      Hi Janeen

It sounds like your friend would be eligible for Specialist Disability Accommodation. Then the property would be very suitable for her and she wouldn’t have to pay any more than in public housing.

Wonderful idea. My wife and I are not disabled just getting older. Interested in what you have to offer and pricing.,. Just looking, not buying at the moment.

      Hi Richard

We only provide housing for people under the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
